A Dad, a Mom, and Three Princesses
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:15-17

L.O.V.E.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love this man? Because I do. As much as I could love any earthly man. Thank God for an earthly husband as phenomenal as this one. I think I will keep him.

Snow Day 2011
We knew the snow was coming in. They estimated that it would hit on Sunday night and it did! We got about 5 inches and the girls were so very excited.
Sophie made a checklist of all the things she wanted us to do in the snow.
Sophie making her snow angel.
Ella working on her snow angel.
Silly girls wanted to try "swimming" in the snow.

Five Years Old
Our sweet little princess is now five years old. It is so hard to believe. I somehow had convinced myself that the little peanut would stay a peanut forever.
This is her at three. Seems like it was just yesterday!
She is blossoming into a little girl as each day passes. She loves singing, performing, snuggling, and just being the center of attention (when it suits her to be the center of attention). She has the greatest laugh in all the world. It is more of a cackle, and it is so big that you think it could break her! She is reading on her own now. It is an amazing thing to see her sounding those words out. You can literally see those little wheels in her mind turning - such an amazing gift from God.
Yummy gluten free donuts for breakfast on her birthday
Just still so hard to believe that she is this big already - she LOVES when I let her sleep in sponge rollers :-)

Getting the hearts ready to put inside of her new stuffed puppy
This was the first year that this sweet child was not terrified of the candles. Usually, she cries and we have to help her blow them out. This time, she totally owned those candles! :-)

Ice Skating!
We took the girls ice skating at the Memphis Zoo this past weekend. Ever since they went ice skating at Rockefeller Center over Thanksgiving, it's all we hear about (particularly from Sophie).
Can you tell she was happy to be there?!?!?
John with all 6 of his daughters. Our three, obviously. Plus Lisa (our nanny), Madison (Ryan's best friend for the past 8+ years), and Sydney (who just played "Annie").
This made me laugh because even when Sophie would bust her little bum, she'd still just smile and laugh and get back up to do it all over again.
We can't wait to go back again!!!!
